Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnuh, Mangalam Garudadhwajah।
Mangalam Pundari Kakshah, Mangalaya Tano Harih॥

मङ्गलम् भगवान विष्णुः, मङ्गलम् गरुडध्वजः।
मङ्गलम् पुण्डरी काक्षः, मङ्गलाय तनो हरिः॥

Meaning: This verse is a prayer for auspiciousness and wellbeing. It praises Lord Vishnu—whose eyes are like lotuses, who rides Garuda (the celestial eagle), and who is the source of all blessings. It seeks his divine presence to bring peace, positivity, and protection into the devotee’s life. The shloka emphasizes that true auspiciousness comes from aligning with the divine form of Hari (another name for Vishnu).

It is often recited at the beginning of rituals or auspicious occasions to purify the atmosphere and attract spiritual blessings. Regular recitation fosters mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual harmony.
