Holi is the festival of colours in India. It is also one of the biggest celebrations that has been celebrated across different states in different ways. Holi is celebrated yearly in India and is mainly observed between late February and mid or late March. The concept of Holi with Radha Krishna is primarily derived from the northern regions of India and it is one of the most renowned legends behind this beautiful color-splashing Hindu festival, Holi.

Mahashivratri the word itself denotes a night dedicated to the celebration and devotion of Shiv Bhagwan. There are in total 17 Shivratri that exist celebrating the different virtues, attributes, significance, and blessing of lord Shiva. Out of these, the significance of Mahashivratri is different having divine intonation, orchestration, and an outworldly event related to this day.

Mahashivratri is one of the biggest events in Hinduism. It is an annual event that occurs during spring. And like every mahashivratri 2024 will occur during spring on March 8th.  For any devotee of lord Shiva or strong believer of Hinduism mahashivratri fasting is a sacred practice.

The Shiv Tandav Stotram is a revered hymn composed in praise of Lord Shiva and is said to be woven in words by the renowned Shiva devotee Sage Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. The origin of the epic composition is linked to a story portraying multiple shades and devotion of the demon king when he encounters his Aradhya Shankar Bhagwan.

Lord Shiva is considered the ultimate, formless, and endless, existence of the universe, which has no beginning or end. In Sanatana Dharma Shiva is a central deity along with the other two embodying the cosmic force of creation, preservation, and destruction. In the Shaivism philosophy of Hinduism, he is considered the supreme deity who is the world itself and the reason for the world to exist.
