Meaning: In the early morning, I meditate upon that supreme form of the Sun (Savitur), whose radiant orb is the essence described in the Vedas. His rays, full of divine energy, are the cause of all life and activity. He embodies the creative power (Brahma), the self (Atma), and the divine form beyond thought, with lotus-like eyes—resplendent and worthy of deep contemplation.

Benefits: Chanting this mantra at dawn invokes clarity, vitality, and inner peace. It aligns the mind with divine energy, enhances focus, and awakens the intellect—making it an ideal practice for a spiritually and mentally uplifting start to the day.
