Om Vajranakhaya Vidmahe Tikshnadamshtraya Dhimahi।
Tanno Nrisimhah Prachodayat॥

 

ॐ वज्रनखाय विद्महे तीक्ष्णदंष्ट्राय धीमहि।
तन्नो नृसिंहः प्रचोदयात्॥

Meaning: This Gayatri mantra invokes Lord Narasimha, the fierce and protective avatar of Lord Vishnu. It translates as: “We meditate on the one with diamond-like nails (Vajranakhaya) and sharp teeth (Tikshnadamshtraya). May that divine Narasimha inspire and guide our intellect.”
