Tanno Rudra Prachodayat ||

 

|| ॐ सर्वेश्वराय विद्महे, शूलहस्ताय धीमहि |

तन्नो रूद्र प्रचोदयात् ||

Meaning: This mantra is a prayer to Lord Rudra, the supreme ruler of all (Sarveshvara) and the one who holds the trident (Shulahasta). Through this chant, we meditate upon His divine form and power, seeking His guidance and illumination. “Tanno Rudrah Prachodayat” is a plea for Lord Rudra to awaken and inspire our intellect, leading us on the path of truth, strength, and spiritual clarity.

 

Benefit: Chanting this mantra enhances focus, purifies the mind, and connects the practitioner to higher consciousness. It is said to awaken deep spiritual insight, promote mental clarity, and dissolve ego and attachments. Especially useful in meditation, this mantra invokes Shiva’s guidance to overcome darkness and ignite the inner light of truth and self-realization.
